Erick Winterkamp is a Director based in the firm’s Arlington office. He works in the firm’s national utilities practice, where he helps lead engagements with some of the largest water, wastewater, gas and public power utilities in the country, including the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority, Orlando Utilities Commission, CPS Energy (San Antonio, TX), Municipal Gas Authority of Georgia, Louisville and Jefferson County MSD, and the Great Lakes Water Authority. These engagements frequently include design and implementation of complex plans of finance for large capital programs, restructuring and refunding opportunity evaluation and execution, and credit analysis. Since joining PFM in 2018, Erick has participated in debt transactions totaling over $15 billion.
As part of his client engagements, Erick has provided financial advisory services to municipal governments, development authorities, and utilities throughout the country. His transactional experience includes advising on a mix of tax-exempt, taxable, and state/federally sponsored securities (State Revolving Fund Loans, WIFIA Loans, etc.). He has significant experience in the structured finance space, particularly with natural gas and energy prepayment transactions.
Erick began his career at PFM in the Virginia practice, where he provided analytical and advisory support for a large and diverse base of state and local level clients such as Fairfax County, Fairfax Water, Hampton Roads Sanitation District and AlexRenew, amongst others.
