Joe DaBreo is a director in PFM's Boston office. He serves in the role of project manager or senior-level client contact responsible for providing financial advisory services and financing strategies to issuers in Massachusetts and the western U.S. At PFM, Joe serves as the primary contact on a wide arrange of transactions for general governmental, transportation and higher education clients across the country. His governmental clients include the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the Massachusetts School Building Authority and the City of Boston. In 2017, he served as project manager for the Bond Buyer’s Northeast Deal of the Year for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority’s first sustainability bond issue.  In higher education, his clients include Worcester Polytechnic Institute (MA), Lesley University (MA), Fisher College (MA), the University of Arizona (AZ), Mount Saint Mary’s University (CA) and National University (CA).

Prior to joining PFM, Joe worked as a primary coverage banker specializing in Northeast credits with particular emphasis on Massachusetts. He executed complex refunding transactions for the state-level agencies and authorities throughout Massachusetts. He also structured transactions for a wide range of public and private higher education institutions.
