Stanley Geberer has been a senior member of the PFM Economics and Tax Strategy team since 2019, after serving with the practice’s predecessor firm, Fishkind and Associates, from 1988 through its acquisition by and integration into the PFM platform. He possesses expert understanding of market conditions, demographic trends, and commercial and residential real-estate development.
Stanley prepares economic impact analyses for a wide variety of activities, including convention centers, stadiums, hotels, warehouse/distribution centers, retail centers, residential developments and unique environmental resources. In addition, he analyzes business incentives and tax credits with a focus on program effectiveness, return on investment and income and job creation.
Stanley also regularly prepares econometric forecasts in support of governmental budgeting, tax revenue planning and public debt support analyses. These forecasts may be applied to the evaluation of new tax programs, as well as to the assessment of budgetary risks such as recessions and natural disaster loss.
Stanley has also worked on a broad range of special projects such as comprehensive land use plan analysis, community redevelopment, beach renourishment, defense facilities analysis, and strategic planning for economic development agencies.
Mr. Geberer has been a featured speaker at Urban Land Institute professional development seminars, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and the Association for University Business and Economic Research. Early in his career, he served as Research Director for the Broward Economic Development Board.
