Congratulations to PFM Director Matthew Stitt for being selected by the Bond Buyer as a 2023 Rising Star.
Matt joined PFM in 2021 and has a leadership role in two major consulting practices within the firm's Management and Budget Consulting area while also serving as a leader and advocate for junior staff members. Matt co-leads PFM’s Center for Budget Equity and Innovation (CBEI), which helps clients achieve their goals for change by applying and advancing emerging equity-based tools and analytical practices in service delivery, budgeting, and capital investment. In addition, Matt has advanced the growth of PFM’s Economics and Tax Strategy practice area, which advises on economic and community development. This recognition by the Bond Buyer underscores the significance of Matt’s work to integrate equity into public finance and budgeting and to promote informed and inclusive economic growth.
